Archipelago Hotels Strengthens its Senior Management Team with Future Growth in Mind

Indonesia, April 2016 – Archipelago International, Indonesia's largest hotel management chain, has recently announced the appointment and promotion of three senior team members.
 
Promoted to become the 8th member of Archipelago International’s Executive Committee, Winston Hanes now holds the position of Director of Operations. He will be coordinating the Operational Regional Managers and assisting all hotel and villa operations in Engineering, Chef, Pastry, Food and Beverage service, Front Office and Housekeeping departments to ensure that guest expectations are continually exceeded and the owners get the best return on their investment. Prior to joining the company, Winston worked with various international hotel chains in Boston, Milan, and Hawaii.
 
The role of Director of Revenue & Distribution and 9th member of Archipelago International’s Executive Committee have been appointed to Peter Turner Smith who will be responsible for global revenue and distribution strategies, including managing mutual continuity cooperations with online and offline key accounts for Archipelago International’s hotels and villas. Peter came to Asia in 2000 and had been working with various international hotel chains worldwide. His previous role as Senior Director of Revenue Optimization & Distribution for an international hotel group managed the revenue performance of over 100 hotels spanning the Asia-Pacific.
 
Niko Wicaksana, Archipelago International's Regional Marketing Communications Manager for East Indonesia, has been promoted the new position of Corporate National Brand Manager. Niko will be responsible for all areas of brand development including communication strategies, marketing campaigns, partnerships, as well as controlling brand implementations. Since 2005, Niko has worked his way up through the ranks in both the media and within hospitality in Indonesia as an Announcer, Events Manager, Public Relations Manager and Marketing Communications Manager.
