Archipelago International Targets Online and Offline Business at Its Sales & Marketing Conference 2018

PRESS RELEASE
30 October 2018

Bali, Indonesia, October 2018 – On October 22-24 2018, Archipelago International once again held its biannual Sales & Marketing Conference in Bali. Attended by more than 160 leaders from across Indonesia and Malaysia, this year’s theme covered the topic, “Balancing Online and Offline Business”.

The conference kicked off on Monday morning with one-on-one sessions between Archipelago International’s leaders and the S&M Corporate teams. The sessions were followed by a sunset soiree and welcome dinner on Jimbaran Beach to unite the teams from far and wide.

On the second day of the conference, a warm welcome was given by Archipelago International’s Chairman, Charles Brookfield, and President & CEO, John Flood. The presentations continued with “Tales from the Field” - testimonials from the Archipelago International hotels that managed to secure significant results from both online and offline business. These hotels were; The Grove SuitesASTON Priority Simatupang, and favehotel Premier Cihampelas.

Conference participants then joined a Sales masterclass with a representative from LKPP (Government Procurement of Goods and Services Agency), before a succession of presentations from knowledgeable guest speakers, covering topics such as content creation, where participants learned the importance of creating catchy and informative press releases for both media and the general public, as well as a deeper look at channel manager, and an introduction to a new “Business to Business” travel provider from Australia.

The conference came to a close with a team building excursion to Bedugul, where participants were divided into groups to play games and solve problems, further shaping their leadership skills and sense of teamwork.

“Once again our Sales & Marketing Conference has proved to be a resounding success – a time where we come together as an International team and continue to move forwards as a unified company. Not only that, but our conferences allow us a time to reflect on our strengths and successes, and recognize our key personnel and regional achievements.” Said John Flood, President & CEO of Archipelago International.
