(Jakarta, June 30th 2014) – By the end of this month, the city of Madiun will see the soft opening of Archipelago International's latest Aston property, The Aston Madiun Hotel & Conference Center. As the most recent addition to the hotel management's ever-growing portfolio, The Aston Madiun will be the newest 4 star hotel in East Java and the first international standard, modern hotel in Madiun.

Located in the western part of East Java, Madiun is easily reached from Central Java’s popular travel destinations, Solo and Yogyakarta. Madiun is also known as a hub of agriculture, with adventurous tourists beginning to take note of the area's stunning landscapes, like the vast forests, secluded waterfalls, the recreational park and a historical site from the Majapahit era.

Just 5 minutes out of the city centre, The Aston Madiun Hotel & Conference Center is strategically located on Jl. Mayjen Sungkono which is conveniently close to the central business district, government offices and also Plaza Madiun. For easy transportation, the hotel is also within walking distance to the main train station and bus terminals, both of which are just 10 minutes away.

The hotel will feature 125 well designed guest rooms and suites, together with a signature restaurant, a lounge and bar, a swimming pool, spa and well-equipped gym. For business affairs, there will be 7 modern meeting rooms and a pillar-less ballroom that can accommodate up to 1500 guests.

“The Aston Madiun Hotel is set to become the leading hotel and conference center in Madiun; a city that until now, has not seen a four-star hotel that meets international standards. Here at Archipelago, we believe that every city in Indonesia has the potential to create a market of high-quality hospitality services, which in effect will increase the economic prosperity of the surrounding communities.” Says Norbert Vas, Archipelago International's VP Sales & Marketing.
